So yesterday I published a cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler And I didn’t know that it was a farewell event yesterday evening But when I found out this morning, I was like, wow, that was really not what I wanted to do, but if it’s happening like this, I think it’s the perfect moment to say thank you for your music And we will think about you a long, long time And yeah, I’m so glad you brought your music to the world And be such an icon And yeah, to all the people who asked why I published this song It was because I was on a concert of her in 2004, 2005 She was part of a festival And I remember her performance on that summer evening and it was really brilliant She was such a great lady So, yeah, and especially this song is also a very personal song for me because when I had my education at the musical school in Hamburg, Germany, then I was singing exactly this song and it was for practicing and getting a feeling for the stage, for entertainment, and yeah, that was the main reason I decided to publish this song So, well, again, Bonnie, farewell ❤️
